What we collect, and what we do with it.

Humanate Creative is a design studio in the United Kingdom. This page says plainly what happens to your information when you use this site. There is no tracking, no advertising and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
Reading the site
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not fingerprint or follow you between sites, so we can see that a page was read but never who read it. The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps short lived security logs of requests as any web host does.
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores one flag in your browser to remember that you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not replay on every visit. That flag stays on your device and is never sent to us.
The chat
The studio's front of house, Humo, is powered by Anthropic's Claude (model claude-sonnet-5). What you type in the chat is sent to Anthropic's API so a reply can be generated, and the reply is sent back to your browser. We do not store the conversation on our servers, and it is not used to train any model. Anthropic handles that text under its own terms, which you can read at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
If you do not finish and send a brief, nothing from the chat reaches us.
Sending a brief
When you finish the brief and press send, we receive what you chose to give us:
- your email address, and your name if you gave one
- the services you picked, what you told us about the project or venture, your timeline and your budget range
- any references, moodboards or files you attached
It is sent to our own server, which emails it straight to the studio inbox at [email protected]. The only third party involved is Resend, the service that delivers the email. We do not keep a copy anywhere else, and we do not pass it on. We use it to answer you and to scope the work, nothing else. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in replying to an enquiry about our services.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and briefs are kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. If the enquiry becomes a project, the records that belong to that project are kept for as long as we work together and for six years after, which is what UK business and tax records require.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
